Since update 24 the mac client(for me at least) has been quitting, freezing and lagging quite a bit. Has anyone else been experiencing this on a Mac?

I have not seen that on my system, which is running yosemite.

I have however seen the DE/EU/FR loading screens start taking a long time, even with the path slashes going the correct way

A few weeks ago I noticed that awesomium was still loading multiple processes and sometimes one of them would use up over 1gb of RAM. Quit the process and the whole program started to run better.

Since the recent update, I can no longer launch the game! It gets to the point where it contacts the patch server, fails to do so, retries 60 times (about a minute of waiting) and then ABENDs out.
Has anyone else had this and does anyone have ANY ideas how to fix it?

I've not seen that. If you create another user account on your mac and try the game from there, does that behavior repeat?

HELP!!! This is exactly my problem too. I recently upgraded my Mac to Yosemite, and ever since the loading screens (all 30 of them....) take forreeeeevveer to load in. It is so frustrating. Why can't Turbine manage to fix the Mac launcher? Is there a good workaround for this???
EDIT: and then once all the downloads are finally, done, I get "Server connection timed out" This is ridiculous.
