"Events:

Anniversary Cards and future card recipes are now linked to their events, which means that the recipes created by combining various cards will only be available when the event is active. Anniversary Cards can no longer be used to make Anniversary Card recipes."

Does it mean the event is permanently over, or that it may come back at a later time?
And if it is perma-gone, why is that if I may ask?:(

Thanx!

p.s: The ending was claimed two times btw, at first dices were disabled, then for some reason this 2nd ending came.

Event was disabled to prevent an exploit, that's the only reason.

But they should have told us if we should keep losing 3 inventory slots by keeping that stuff or we should just throw it all away.

They did. Repeatedly.

They did. Repeatedly.

And the answer is yes, BTW.

Today's message is aimed at letting people know that they should use their 8th Anniversary Cards prior to the release of Update 24 if they want to get the 8th Anniversary benefits through the Eldritch Card Cruncher. I would recommend holding onto your bag, box, and dice, at least for now. That said, if there is a "9th Anniversary" event or some such thing in the future it will likely not use the same cards at the 8th Anniversary event.

They did in many places, and afaik, it only takes 1 bank space as a bag. Unless they decide to magically eject. On lamannia, the bag kept the contents until I pulled them out, then I could not place them back in. Which seems to follow standard disable mechanics.

The way I read it, the event is coming back.

You can only craft Risia Ice Games weapons on the Ice Altar during that time frame.

You can only do the EggHunt when the traveler is around.

You can only go to Crystal Cove when the Crystal Cove is around.

You can only cash coins when the Jester is around.

However, I can use my anniversary cakes whenever I feel like it.

The cards were an anniversary gift. Not a Seasonal event.

that being said, I totally agree it needed to be shut down.

Note that Cordovan says: "in the future it will likely not use the same cards..."

Really?
Yes really, please provide proof.
By the way:

Removing the card cruncher isn't really to stop duplication cheats.
so the one you're thinking of is not it.

You're partially correct, just as Sev~ was partially honest. Removing the use of the cruncher didn't prevent duping, it did however put an end to benifiting from duped cards - sure, you can dupe more; but fat lot of good it'll do ya ;)
