While I think it is kinda fun that eOrchard spawns can get outrageous, the problem is that we’re discovering is that we’re running into groups that create so much server-side lag that you can’t fight them. Anyone else seeing this?

Not sure what your saying.

Are you being intentionally greifed? you think Orchard instance lag is creating server wide lag?

Have not seen this even with a split group fighting mobs across the orchard maybe, it's you

Well, I'll tell you what happened.

First we had a full group. And we were going around killing stuff. Then, however, we ran into a red-named lich in the middle of a pack of mobs near the Temple of Vol. In the process of fighting this boss, the following things may have happened:

1) A bunch of mobs spawned somewhere and agro-ed on us,

2) The Lich was moving around as he fought us, and in going so activated other clusters of mobs around us,

3) In the process of fighting the boss, we unintentionally activated other clusters of mobs that re-spawned in places where we had already been. Maybe a combination of backing up and the boss moving around. IN either event, there are mobs EVERYWHERE.

needless to say, about 5 - 10 seconds into this fight there are waves of mobs everywhere, and next thing I know, everyone - including me - can't cast or move as our screens are basically frozen for several seconds at a time (say 6 seconds). It was very reminiscent of what we saw in the last few Marbar events.

I think what I am getting at is that the respawns in eOrchard are happening too quickly, and perhaps too close together. It results in a situation like there where a factor or combination of factors create massive lag in the wilderness.

We had been out there for about an hour with no issues. However, that one fight and it was Lag-a-Palooza, and it was different fro the normal type of lag I've experienced in game recently.
