Request for THF Build

Greetings all,

I am looking to TR my melee build that is only played occasionally into a more effective THF build. I have quite a few THF weapons that I would like to continue to leverage.

I was thinking a Paladin THF build is what I would be most interested in, but I am open to more ideas, like a FvS or something like that.

Regardless, I won't do a Robot. I know HOrc gets a lot of racial enhancements to boost THF. Dwarf for flavor would be nice and I am totally open to that. And I well know the benefits of being human (most of my toons are).

Other than that, I really am open to just about anything, does anyone have some suggestions that I might be able to start with.
This is his 3rd life so he will be a 36 point build.

Is there any reason not to go pure pally? Power Atk, THF x3, IC:Slash (or Blunt), Overwhelming Crit, do what you like with the remaining feats. 41 APs into KotC, 13-24 APs into SD, rest into racial tree (or Harper if you have it).

No reason at all. Was just looking for suggestions. I am very curious about the Pallies and so am interested in trying it out.

So definitely willing to go full Pally. I do have the racial tree.

How do you think a dwarf would do? for a pure pally TWFer?

I meant make a dwarf THF pally build. Not the TWF.

I would suspect human is better for the healing amp and extra feat, but I might go flavor if there might be good options for a dwarf THF pally.

Every pally can pick up to 30% heal amp from KotC; and I rarely take more than 10% amp from human, just because there are usually more interesting options for my APs. The extra feat, Dmg Boost, & skill pts help too, ofc; it's really the package deal when it comes to humans which make them attractive, IMHO. That said, pallies are strong enough now that you should play what you want, not what the minmaxers tell you is the master race. :cool: Heck, play a DMed halfling pally swinging an eSOS if that floats your boat.

Oh yea I always play what is fun. I never look for the most uber EE build's that tweak everythign in the game out there. One of the reasons I won't play a robot or a shiradi caster. They are my style.

I have only been asking cause I really rarely play melee builds. I have mostly played caster builds. So I am just looking for suggestions and support to help make a toon that is both fun to play and contributes something to the group.
