Currently, when I want to check or change my subscription status, I have to do all this:

1. Go to www.ddo.com
2. Highlight "The Game" menu
3. Click on "Become a VIP" link
4. Wait for the page with all its many advert graphics to load.
5. Scroll all the way to the bottom
6. Click the "Become a VIP today!" link.
7. Log in to my account

Can I just say how it seems a little silly that the basic subscription control panel is hidden behind so many steps? There should be a link to myaccount.turbine.com somewhere visible on ddo's top page, just to help out the people who want to give you money.

Or, here's another idea, there's already a "My Account" link when we log into the ddo homepage in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and the control panel we get when we click on "My Account" does have a "Manage Subscriptions" subpage. This seems like the logical place to look for subscription information. It's where I looked the first few times until I learned the obfuscated clickchain I actually needed to get through. Why not make "Manage Subscriptions" a link to myaccount.turbine.com? Or, if it's possible and there's time and resources to throw at it, integrate the systems so the "Manage Subscriptions" page can actually let me check/change my subscriptions. The only thing "Manage Subscriptions" does now is let me change the nickname label I have attached to my subscription. And how often does anyone need to do that?

Please add a link to the home page.

Maybe under the store tab labeled My Account.

html can be tricky,........ it would be nice but they have enough to do. we all remember what happened last time they changed the site.

Appreciate the feedback! Perhaps this is something we can look into. I would say that the seven step process could be shortened to:

1. Go to myaccount.turbine.com. :)

Whilst I can remember that, and I can even put it in my favourites/bookmarks, your smiley faced statement in no way invalidates the importance of your second sentence. :p

Is the correct answer for the 'official' current shortcut.

That only works if you can actually remember the address. I read this thread earlier today and still had to look it up to make sure so that I could answer someone else's question a minute ago.

That's a bit like saying "You can't join the club 'cos you don't have the password. Anyone who has the password can't join the club."

Agreed, the top page should have a link to
myaccount.turbine.com

I do it a little differently than the OP, but it's equally esoteric:

1. Click STORE => DDO Market
2. Scroll all the way to the very bottom
3. Under the "Getting Help" middle column I click "Manage Your Game Account"

It's possibly the most user-unfriendly "Take My Money" link I've ever seen. heh. Maybe just add it to the STORE dropdown at the top of the forums?

Below is what I use in Firefox:

1. Create bookmark to the account page.
2. When needing to go it I simply type "my turbine" in the URL bar (without quotes).
3. Press the down arrow key once.
4. Press Enter.
5. Go to page!
6. Profit!
