Same problem here. Tried some of the suggestions posted from others who had this problem before. (selecting no proxy in launcher, and running TurbineRegisterGDF) and restarting PC / Launcher multiple times. Nothing worked still having the same loading pre-req.

You are't alone. Same problem here. Probably be a DNS or Akamai server problem. :-(
