View Full Version : EE Reflex Saves?

I was curious if there was a number to shoot for to have unbeatable reflex saves to use in conjunction with evasion and epic reflexes? (the feat seems useless if I'd fail on a 1-2 anyways, which is why I'm asking)

I'm currently sitting at 76-82, depending on what sphere I'm working on, and it's an 80 when I'm in my preferred destiny. I tried doing a couple searches, but came up with nothing. I appreciate the help!

80 is good enough for just about anything. You can punch EE Miior in the face with 72-74. Some things have a ridiculous DC, like the spike pit in eProve Your Worth (100+), but you should be good for the vast majority of content.

EE Karleth chain DC 73 EE Miior DC 73 (one or both of these might be only DC 72 - can't remember for sure)

A vast majority of EE reflex saves - DC about 55-57 or so

Most Bosses in EE that have something that you need to make a reflex save against - DC about 60-62

A Few notable exceptions

Trap in EE Ghost of a Chance - DC about 70

The flame traps in EE prove your worth DC about 75 if i recall correctly most of the other traps there are DC's in the low 60's

the "jump" in any difficulty prove your worth DC at least 100 if not higher but does have a DC so improved evasion gets you half damage.

EN Deathwyrm Grav room traps on blue and green DC about 80 Can't remember if this goes up on higher difficulty but they don't do all that much damage unless you stand on them for several ticks. I think the spiked ceiling and floor is DC 85ish but never really paid much attention to that so...

I failed flame trap save with a reflex save in the low 80s so I know it's above 75 with a full party. I also failed gravity room save on EN with a save of 90. In both cases the characters had epic reflexes so I am sure I was actually failing the save.

Everything else seems about right.

Thank you very much for your insights!

I was playing an EH Deathwyrm the other day and could only evade the spikes in the gravity area about half the time, which is what made me start doubting my save. Usually I can evade everything, but I was failing saves with a roll less than 10.

Grav room spiked ceiling/floor is higher DC than the traps on blue/green. I have one char that I run anywhere from 62 to 78 reflex save depending on what level I am at the time and what ED/twists. I know I save against the spikes once in a great while and I save against the blue/green fairly often but also fail it fairly often. Flame trap in Prove your worth on EE - I save against once in a while but usually fail - although I normally don't get hit by it at all due to avoiding them.

EE Karleth - I like to tank him - he still hits for like 400 per hit (with 100ish PRR) even when you save against the chain, and EE Miior - are the only things where I really make sure I have 72+ Reflex save - everything else I don't even pay attention to what my reflex save is - its always over 62 on that char, just sort of make a mental note when I do actually fail a reflex save and try to look at what rolls are failing etc. Miior and Karleth I tanked (or in the case of Karleth tried to tank) with a 67 reflex save once so and watch what rolls were failing and what ones were saving.

Which would make the save around 85 - which is pretty close to what my "guess" was - and would also mean the saves in the grav room on Deathwyrm probably do not scale with difficulty.
