A button on the LFM panel to reaquire a quest when you solo and cannot window grab.
Because it is not entertainment to walk back and forth to quests.
pls, ty

Windowfarming is not what the game is about. So why should they implement a windowfarm button?

Just a shot in the dark here: because not catering to soloists is wrong?

everyone is too busy farming xp, as if xp was to run out, so anything but insert farming quest on EN will be soloing 95% of the time...
but as always assume whatever you want

Hopefully it would solve the "oh @#$@, I forgot to talk to the genie twice!"

This wouldn't assist window farming since you can't turn in the quest remotely and therefor can't pick it up again. Am I wrong?

But then what will my friends make fun of me for?

Make a second account.
Log on both accounts at once
have your 2 characters join the same party
have the character you are playing share the quests with the second account
have the second account pike outside the quest while your actual account solos

No thanks.
Window farming should not be encouraged.. even moreso for people who prefer to solo.

Try finding players with like goals if you want to fill your party.
Also if you don't put up an LFM because, you think it won't fill then your only defeating your group before even trying. contributing to the lack LFMs.
On a solve your own problem note: you could easily drop the quest and have a guildie share to pick the quest up at the door.

Windowfarming is exactly what the game is about. As challenge and difficulty was removed from the game, the game started to revolve around pointless grinding. That is all there is to do in the game. Pick your grind, convince yourself there's a reason to engage in it and then go to town.

Hey, I having done anything I would consider grinding since window farming Rusted Blades into oblivion to Cap all Destinies back in U17.
If your finding yourself grinding its on your own accord.
Been some ~20 lives since U18 without grind.

I miss Rusted Blades, that was preferable to ETR.

It is a grind. Look at it the way you want, it is a grind for the majority of veterans.
Why on earth does someone replay the same quest 200 times over the course of years?
Certainly not for the quest. For a lot of people this is done in the name of character progression. Others solo level guilds. Others socialize in game.
Now there are ways to make the grind more fun and less of a grind. Some of them are on our end (go out of your comfort zone in quests, etc.) others on turbine's end (freaking design quests with replays in mind).

They just need to add a button to restart the end boss fight and loot the end chest. Better yet to just put it on the log in screen and save as much time as possible.

The "add-xp" button. A log in and pay 30 astral shards for X xp. Good idea!

There ARE people that windowfarm though. As DDO changes and becomes a grindfest, it needs to attract that audience to survive. It can't keep some of its old, useless mechanics. If Turbine and the playerbase insist going in this direction, then they need to at least do a good job of it.

window farming is allowed.
But, the game has been going farther and farther away from that direction since U18.
What game are you playing?
If window farming is so prevalent in game why are you finding it so difficult to get at least 1 player to window farm with you?

No, it's not. You can level on a once and done elite streak skipping big chunks of content as you go because there is more xp available than there is bankable at several points. You can choose to move around, do more things, instead of sitting on the same few quests over. And it's a heck of a lot more fun, not to mention doing al the quests that way and earning around 5k favor gives you 1250 turbine points a life to do whatever the heck you want with. Cosmetic fluff, xp pots, whatever.

Easing windowfarming isn't a good idea and will lead to faster bordom and windowfarming is about as boring and grindy as you can get.

People that typically window farm either are xp farming specific quests or ransacking chests for loot. That's a player choice who wants their xp and loot fast causing a grind for themselves.
