Siberys Dragonshard uses?

No.

The fragments are more useful, as you use them in crafting, but the shards can only be used to swap feats.

IIRC, there is at least one crafting recipe that uses a Flawless Shard. But considering that I never used this recipe, and crafting is underwhelming for anything after level 15, keeping them is your choice.

Siberys fragments are also used for making deadly traps and grenades. I can't recall if they get used in the lesser versions.

They are also used in rituals with the Stone of Change and the Epic Crafting altar, as well as some Cannith crafting recipes.

I can't personally recall needing to crunch them into anything beyond fragments for anything other than for feat swapping.

10 Siberys = An Exceptional Sibery

10 Exceptionals = A Flawless Sib.

These sell quite well on the AH.

So you may as well keep crunching them down as you get them and once you have enough Flawless so you don't need to worry if you ever need one you can sell off the excess.

You are correct, I was in error; other than crunching to make shards from fragments, Siberys Dragonshard Fragments are not used in the Stone of Change.

Cannith Crafting and the Device Workstation. That's it for crafting, AFAIK.


If you're going to start from scratch, I believe you need 1,000,000 Siberys Fragments to make a Perfect.

I've used like 60-80K of Siberys Dragonshards while leveling craft lvls to 150/150/150, quite a lot of recipes need those (also similar amount of khyber dragonshards).

50 Siberys Dragonshard Fragments are used for cleansing old items in the Altar of Epic Rituals.

yellow or red shard fragments - never too many for me.

yellow - crafting, respec and make top tier shards for myself, sell or friends to use. almost all time on demand if ppl know you have.

red - crafting and i still do good, old soultrapping on dedicated conj wizzie toon with name "soultrapper". it takes a lot to make average shards and some type of soul stones are still in demand, but not so needed shards as yellow.
