So as being one of those effected by the bug that reduced Epic Denieth Chain which I find fantastic until you can get the new boots, I was happy with seeing in the release notes that they had fixed it so that you could get the +15 bonus back through the stone of change.

Well being a bit pessimistic I thought to myself lets give it a go, I do have heavy fort slotted and tbh I didn't pay any attention to if I had the colourless slotted and sure enough they were cleared on fixing the problem. Well I understand that these things happen when they are fixing issues. I will just lodge a job with a GM I am sure they can get something as simple as this sorted out.

And so the ticket gets closed with the standard reply people have experienced in the past, they are unable to do anything about this.

So I thought ok lets give them the benefit of the doubt and relodge the job with a link to the release notes and instructions.

Same deal.

Post it via custome service

Same deal.

Ok. Its pretty simple, Turbine broke it no worries, they worked on a patch but when the fix method removes something that was paid for with Turbine Points (not a lot of them) I have a significant issue and really this needs to be dealt with. So far this is extremely poor customer service.

Ouch, what augments did you lose? I'm really glad i forgot to do this then. Oh well, time to dig out the jewellers tools i guess.

For me its not about replacing it, heavy fort augment not overly pricey and I jeweller kits worth more but I won't pay to fix their mistake.

Typical Turbine... They can "update" an item across the board when they screw it up... But can't fix it the same way.

Hey cfer, as an Australian and as Turbine is choosing to trade in Australia, we can go to the Department of Fair Trading in our respective states and raise a complaint that Turbine has not complied with our consumer laws in terms of their lack of fairness of either appropriate goods replacement or refunding of points.

They did have a win with Steam recently so you could try them after you exhaust other avenues here.

It seems the only time a response of the matter is given is when a Thread title such as "Poor Customer Service" is used. Looks like I am going to have to try that.
