In the last patch to U23 these were listed as fixes ...

Hirelings told to stay put will no longer follow players after combat.

Melee hirelings told to stand their ground in a spot will no longer help their master when their master gets hit.

Neither of these are happening. I have used various hirelings in quests and challenges and they are acting exactly the same way they did before this patch. When told to stand their ground, they immediately run to where you are as soon as you enter combat with anything. Then they stand their unresponsive for sometime and usually have to be called back to where you told them to stay at to start with.

Placing them on stand your ground still results in it resetting back to follow and having to change it to stand your ground multiple times to hope it stays.

One thing that the update did not change: Note that all commands, including Stand Your Ground, have cooldowns. If you tell them to move to you, you must wait until the cooldown is over before issuing another command to stand their ground, otherwise, that command is reset.

I haven't played yet since the patch so you may have discovered that things are still poor, even if you're respecting the cooldowns.

The cooldowns have nothing to do with e problem, they are still moving all over the map.

I tested this yesterday, totally aware of and watching the cooldown and they are clearly not working as the release notes say they are suppose to be working.
