In Crystal Cove, Stolen Star Rubies and Star Sapphires are used for the Glass Cannon, a level 24 item, why do we have a pair of gems (Opals and Malachites) above that used for the same levels?

Why can't we just have Level 24-Tier Gems such as Stolen Star Rubies and Stolen Star Sapphires for all level 24 items in Crystal Cove instead of adding a level 28 tier (Or something like that, I assume, since the tiers are separated by 4-level intervals and Opals and Malachites are one tier above the star rubies and sapphires)

The leading theory on this is because it forces people to run cove now to make the new stuff, rather than being able to make it entirely with stuff they saved up from past cove events.

I believe this is the case. I'll also add that in the event they ever add Lvl 28 gear to the cove, The Lvl 24-> 28 gems will already in place.

Well, that's one question answered, now the other question is if the Swashbuckler Buckler Levels 4-20 will ever get the Riposte they deserve...

Hi,

My main has found he can stick almost twice as many of the new gems up his nose than the old ones.

For that reason, the new gems are a valuable addition, and I am very grateful for them.

Thanks.
