It is a nice idea, it is completely broken now.

Bear has always been broken because of its attack speed; wolf is powerful as it is but the real problem is that...

The unique abilities, which are creative and fun, are completely useless outside heroics. The DCs are simply not high enough to cut it. It seems to me that changing those DCs (and perhaps some of the damage / temp HP enhancements) and revising the bear form would allow for a some fun builds. It seems rather low cost (perhaps not the bear, but the DC change would be).

I hate to say it, but I think it is lazy design to leave behind a big amount of enhancement trees for years and abandon whole build possibilities. It is not only sad for those who would like to play those builds but it is also a rookie trap.

Not for this particular one, but surely when I started playing I fell for MANY stupid choices. How could I know that some of the legit options could be so bad?

Takedown (which I use constantly) has a decent DC even in epics. Maybe not epic elites, but EH it works fairly well due to the fact it uses balance. but yes, Im all for updating druids as a whole in regard to their wildshapes as well as their animal spells, and fixing the exploited fighting styles (and updating natural fighting. since even when it came out it was useless.... yet still basically a requirement).

They will have to fix Wild shapes exploits before they buff Druid it's already OP due to exploits.
