Idk why, but it would seem that certain items cant have a buyout option... like stats tomes and skill tomes... and also hair dyes... is this WAI? or a bug?...

Most (all?) consumables can't have a buyout option. Apparently WAI although I'm not sure any reason was ever given for why.

yea getting a decent price for a tome is rough,constant underbidding ...and no buyout means the AH stock dosen't get depleted fast enough. Players have withdrawn bids on a few items too...must be creating characters to grief AH then deleting them before expiration...yea ddo dosent have any problem players;(@#%^!!#&*

shards should be only for airships ,and should also only be avail btc from store... end the madness!!!

Thought it was tied to items that could be purchased from the DDO Store, but don't think I've ever seen an 'official' reasoning.


I'm more grumbly about bidding on items and having them 'disappear' from ASAH and not getting one's ASs back. One can avoid the obvious 'problem' listings, like 500 Flawlesses, but I have stopped bidding on stuff there at all for the time being.
*Shrug* Helps me save up for one of those fancy airships some year.
