I just returned after about 3yrs. I never did upgrade any of the CC items last time. If you have a level 20 item and upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2, etc - does the min level requirement actually increase to say 21 or 22, etc? When I put my armor into the chest, it gives me the warning, "The following effects increase the min level requirements by +32...". Does anyone have actual experience upgrading items on this version of the event?

I will hit 24 soon and I do not want to waste time pre-ugrading an item if it increases the level further.

Nope, upgrading the tiers doesn't change the min level... But what the heck is that?! I would say that there's clearly some kind of odd issue at work if you're getting a msg stating that the min level will be increased by +32! You said you've been gone for ~3 years? They've made a few changes to the game in that time - I suspect it's an issue of trying to upgrade some old-coded item under a (comparatively) newly-coded system.

Maybe it is some of the Cannith Crafting code. *Shrugs*. The item that I placed in the chest for upgrade was a lvl 24 Calvary BP that I just bought today. Thanks for the reply.

O.o? That makes even less sense then - sry I couldn't help beyond affirming that min levels don't change with tier 2/3 upgrades; lvl 24 item @ tier 1 is still lvl 24 item @ tier 3.
