View Full Version : * WARNING* Epic Spyglass at Tier 3

I've already reported the Spyglass issue to Turbine but wanted to *WARN* others about it (hope its not to late)....the Spyglass will have both +20 Spot and +15 Spot at Tier 3 completion , the rest of Spyglass is fine just bugged with 2 Spot stats

Why exactly do we need a *warning*? Does only the +15 function? As long as the +20 works and everything else is there it's just a display bug. Doesn't seem like that big a deal.

Not seeing the issue. Mine (not upgraded from the lvl20 version) shows the expected +20 to search, spot and open lock.

Is this an upgraded one from lvl20 or a freshly made one?

I created the epic spyglass a couple years ago, just updated to T2 and T3 over the weekend.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This does happen while upgrading to tier 2. However, it shouldn't have any negative effect on the item as the +20 Spot should take precedence over the +15 and all other effects are still present on the item.

Ok so the +20 spot supersedes the +15, but another problem is that the open lock is not displayed so is it just a display bug or is it that you do not get the open lock at all when these pre update 24 Spyglasses are upgraded to lvl 24?

What tier do you have? The level 24 (http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Epic_Treasure_Hunter%27s_Spyglass_(Level_24)) doesen't get open lock until upgraded to tier 2.

Yes yes I realize that it is not on the tier 1 that it is only applied to the tier 2/3 lvl 24 Spyglass. When you look at previous post with the Tier 3 lvl 24 Spyglass display it does not have the open lock +20 displayed on the written items, so is that just a display bug or is open lock not applied at all to the spyglass?

That's a picture of a level 20 spyglass, which never had open lock.

oops, ok so just realized that the pic displayed is of a lvl 20 spyglass, is this affecting the lvl 24 spyglass then as well?
