High Spirits bugged

Just noticed on my bard that the Warchanter enhancement "High Spirits" seems to be bugged. It's supposed to protect against Crushing Despair but I've noticed that I still seem to get it.

Has anyone else tried this enhancement and gotten it to work?

i noticed this bug right after the enhancement pass originally went in. unless things have changed since then, it is only a visual bug. you still get the "crushing despair" icon over your head, but no debuff to your skills.

Crushing despair has two effects.

-2 to attack, saves, skill, damage (on failed save)
-5 to will save (no save)

Do you get only 1 of those maybe and therefore the symbol?

Okay. I have just tested it. As Eth mentions, there are two effects.
* High Spirits makes you immune the Weaken Will effect. This is in the combat log, and also the person casting crushing despair you will see an "immune" message over your head.
* It does not make you immune to the -2 saves and skills effect.

What I have noticed, and I don't know really understand the mechanics, is that after some time, but before the spell timer expires, the crushing despair effect is dispelled. Sometimes, it was after a few seconds, once it lasted almost 1 minute. It was as if a check was running, and, once a minute, it dispels all your despairs.

Hmm...I did notice that it disappeared quicker than expected. I guess it is not WAI. Did you ever file a bug report on it? If not I guess I will do so.

I wrote a bugged to this as well. I am only immune to the will save portion of crushing despair on my bard. I still get the -2 to everything else.
