What happens when you wear two spell absorbion items

Like for example a Magestar and a Jeweled cloak, do they both absorb the same spell or will one count down to 0 charges and then the other take over?

Only one loses charges until it's depleted. Don't ask me which one goes first though.

I've got a jeweled cloak and one of those skull thingy necklaces...looks like a rat skull actually...
While I don't have them both equipped anymore, I did notice that when I did, the cloak would deplete first.
I still have them both on the hotbar. Right beside each other....juuuuuust in case.

Equipping both Mantle of the Worldshaper and Pale Lavender Ioun Stone will mean only the last one equipped will work. Once depleted you will not get spell blocks from the first equipped item unless you re-equip.
