No Hair Styles for Shadar-Kai?

When I first rolled my Shadar-Kai, I used an old ponytail hairstyle I had sitting in the bank.


When I did a recent LR and my appearance, including the hairstyle got wiped (which really annoys me), I pulled another ponytail out of a TR cache (from the very same stack the first one came from). I went to apply it, and saw in the description that it is now forbidden for Shadar-Kai as well as WF.

What the hell Turbine? You make hideous choices for a racial design, see that we did something about it, and then make our old products useless? Come on. You have more important things to spend your time on, like ladder bugs, or fix Bluff so it doesn't aggro mobs.

Personally, I thinks its a ridiculous reason. As players we can change the characters favored class, we can change their alignment, we can divert them from Shar, we can dress them in something other than S & M gear, but apparently DDO draws the line at hairstyle.

how dare we decide we want something other than the four choices we have at character creation for Shadar Kai.

(BTW 4 choices of hairstyle is pitiful for a P2P race, just saying.)

Thing is, it used to work, they changed it. Like they don't have serious work to be doing.

I have a hard time choosing a hairstyle for my Shadar-Kai. I don't like most of them, and going bald is not my thing.

They should allow more hairstyles.

I think the Shadar-Kai need rows of safety pins on their armour and Dead Kennedys or DRI backpatches. :D
