Greetings fellow Eberron and Realms delvers. It is sad to say, but I must bid you all an fond farewell. I have played DDO since it launched F2P back in 2009 off and on. Was real hardcore for the first year or so. But the game to me has strayed to far from the mark and after coming back to view the latest changes to the game I have decided it is time for me to depart. I love the community, and loved this game. But the game itself has gone a direction far from what I recognize as Dungeons and Dragons and sadly I must let it go. I have found other entertainment in the last few years, though a lot of it is jumping between console gaming and a few other MMOs that have been more entertaining and less clicky-tastic. I am glad to know all who I have meet throughout the years and wish you a fond farewell and hope your adventures bring you the joy and happiness.Your friend always,TiranBlade, Time Killer

No! No! Noooooooooooo!

You can't leave - <sob> :(

Wait...wait...who are you again?

Ok, well see you around. And, btw, tomorrow after I get up, I'll probably drink some coffee and then have breakfast. I'm thinking maybe an omelet. Pretty easy to make, nice with hot sauce. Shower after. Think about DDO, maybe put the game on, maybe do some work instead. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm not going to work. Yeah, I know you don't care what I'm doing tomorrow - mostly because you don't know me.

So, have a good one!

Mmm, omlette with hot sauce, then shower, think about work but don't. Awesome Saturday plan. I think I will make it mine too!

...and IBTL.

I always thought the rule against goodbye threads was absurd. It shows a deep insecurity about the future of the game that did not need to exist. Here we are almost 10 years later, goodbye threads have had no effect. It is just plain weird. The fun part about goodbye threads is that 90% of people return anyway. It is a dumb rule.

See what's the problem? the simple fact that you had to take some time to post this, means you care about this game, and i have to say, this game, is the same you played when f2p started, or how it was when i started on EU servers, still, i think that this game is even better, as loong as they keep a detailed and not so straightline way of thinking and let us build our character as we like.

And i think that some changes makes you get mad, some did to me too, but you know what? i changed my playstyle to reflect the changes, and trust me, i have more fun now than when i started.

so, think about it, take your time and try again later.

btw i don't know you, just my 2 copper pieces :)

And I can say that the sky is a bright, vivid red. And we'd both be wrong.
