I'm out of rogue atm doing other past lives.

I heard Nokowi saying that U23 was making some of the agro problems better.

How is it out there now?

Can we double assassinate?

Do mobs auto agro still?

I'm looking forward to going rogue again in the near future, but I'm very interested in how its going with the new update.

There is no auto agro. The mobs do tend to run to the spot you just assassinated and search for you. I'm not sure if you can double assassinate solo for U23, but in groups you can if someone else has agro. I've been fighting mostly undead in necro/MoD and usually in groups, so I haven't done many solo runs.

The mechanics seem quite good (realistic).

U23 adds a lot of damage so DPS may be faster kills than assassinate on EN/EH. On EE assassinate is still usually your best option.

I haven't yet seen a double when soloing. In fact, in the split second between what used to be assassinate A and assassinate B, I've noticed the mobs "wake up" and turn toward their fallen comrade. I've had doubles in groups, but not solo. I haven't done official testing, mind you, just what I've seen so far.

If you assassinate with one mob standing next to the other, and you come at them in a perpendicular fashion, you can get off two kills with a single assassinate. If your intended targets are in a straight line from you, you can take one out, but by the time you get to the other, the aggro mechanic is triggered, and a second assassinate will both fail and reveal your position.

However, if you hit one, then sneak away, the mobs will target your former position, but not see you at all. It is more realistic, but I think it could be slightly better.

In a PUG, getting 2 kills on a group of mobs aggro-ed on another player is fairly easy to do.

auto aggro might have been gone briefly, but it appears to be back. Assassinate a mob and every mob within 50 feet or so of your target immediately knows where you're at and attacks...even singleton targets that should have let you assassinate and sneak away.

I've been able to make double assassinations without issue, even a triple if I spin my character about fast enough.

But as others noted, enough proximity and other enemies notice (logically) that a comrade has fallen. But it's not making an automatic detection that reveals you outright, as was the U22 bug. Hit 'em and (stealth) run!
