Neither of these say in the description that you must be swashbuckling. Assuming you have to be though. Thoughts?

The text is correct, they should not require Swashbuckling.

Interesting. Now to see if I could justify 32ap spent in the tree on a THF build. Thanks Steelstar.

Do things that require you to be swashbuckling also require the finesse weapons? Like using a bsword in both hands, in swash stance, but not getting the benefits, can you still get the sonic on crits? I don't think it works, but the stance stays on even if I am twf.

The stance stays on, on your buff bar? Or just stays active on your hot bar? Swashbuckling requires a swashbuckling weapon...

And miss out on 90% of the other benefits.......

Yes you could , but I would put that in the " drow barbarian wizard, 2WF dagger, max charisma " build bin.....

The stance stays on, however you get none of the benefits of Swashbuckling if you don't meet the requirements (i.e., Finesseable mainhand weapon, no weapon in offhand, etc.). On my TWF bard using rapiers, I invested enough into SB to get Uncanny Dodge & Skirmisher so I could get +10% Dodge when S&B if I ever need to turtle up or if I'm just hanging back casting spells. Swashbuckling stays active the whole time, but I only get the benefits of it when I switch from TWF to S&B.
