No tomes 32point Dex Based Swashbuckler.
Preface - This is slightly based on an upcoming change, if you reach level 24 before Overwhelming Critical gets changes, pick up Precision instead.

Enhancements for the Non Bard Trees:

In the swashbuckler tree, Make sure to pick up:
Swift Strikes from tier 3, in order to get dexterity to damage with weapon attacks while Single Weapon Fighting.
and
Skirmisher: from tier 4. It will allow you to equip a buckler in your off hand and gain 10% dodge, whilst maintaining the bonuses of single weapon fighting and swashbuckling.
These two enhancements are essential to the build.

As much as I like DEX builds, I don't see much point in going DEX-based here - certainly not on a human, at any rate. You have ready access to STR bonuses (Skaldic Rage, Rage spell, SD defensive stance) and there's enough Reflex bonuses in SB to make up for not going DEX-based (I think). Also I think your feat progression isn't quite right: you can't take Finesse at lvl 1 (req's BAB 1) and unless I'm adding wrong your BAB is only 3 at lvl 6, so you can't take GC either.
My suggestion for a first-life build would be something like this:

The THF feats are placeholders for SWF, since the builder hasn't been updated yet. Haven't worked out skills, so there might be a more optimal leveling order. For a 32-pt build you can go with more INT & DEX or CON 16. Built with the intention of using Skullsmasher (http://ddowiki.com/page/Skullsmasher), hence IC:Blunt.
At low lvls you should use 2H weapons; I wouldn't switch to SWF until at least lvl 4 which is when you can pick up Swashbuckling. I also recommend going with empty offhand+Dashing Scoundrel for +10% doublestrike until you get to lvl 12 and have ISM; at which point you switch to Skirmisher and trade 2% doublestrike for +10% Dodge.
Enhancements: this will vary while leveling, but in the end I would spend at least 35 APs in Swashbuckler (T5s inc. Thread the Needle, Exploit Weakness, and Coup de Grace), 11 APs in Stalwart D. (defensive stance), 4 APs in Kensei (Haste Boost), and 3 APs in human for Dmg Boost + 10% heal amp. That leaves 27 APs to spend as you see fit. EDIT: although I would aim to spend 25 APs in SD for Swift Defense and T4 Gtr Defense, which would leave 13 APs.

I have one of these..12/6/2. Started as Shadar Kai. I went the Dex route and it has worked out real well, but I think I will go str route when I re-incarnate. I believe I'm leaving some DPS on the table by going the dex path.
I had intended to pick up some trapping skills also, but with the 6 fighter levels, I found my trapping skills a little lacking in EE content.

Good catch, fixed.

It definitely used to, I'm not sure if that bug has been fixed or not.

APs.
Unless they changed er I don't think skaldic holds with defender stance up.

It doesn't: but either you're out of defensive stance in which case you can use Skaldic Rage + Rage spell (+6 STR); or you're in defensive stance in which case you can pick up the +6 STR from SD tree. Either way, you come out ahead than if you go DEX-based as fTdOmen's build did and don't need Finesse, saving a feat.

The Dwarven Defender build (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/444545-The-dwarven-defender-parody) is a great build that works both solo and group with no tomes and 32 points. You will always lose out with skill points no tomes unless you go for int based damage with swash. A few things to note:
This will work best AFTER the patch where you can lower your strength and increase your dex or cha for either more AC or better bard DC's.
Everything remains the same feat wise when running the build, just account for the lower skills and at level stat lose for tomes at 3,7,11,15,18.
Outside of that the build is very customizable, you can drop the metamagic feats to get more martial feats like shield bash, you can shift around the levels easily. I like going 1Rogue 2-4 Bard 5-10 Fighter, gives you both stances early and full access to the improved stalwart stance.
