Dwarf 2-h Great Axe build

hello all.. returning after long break.. wanting to know if anyone has Dwarf greataxe build .. or Maul .. mostly back do to friend who started playing.. so we are both working with 1st life toon.. he playing FVS.. and wondering if Fighter/cleric build still doable.. have one about lvl 14.. so can play either.. will be doing mostly duo.. solo and maybe get wife to play.. though she HATES spiders.. and well.. any help be much liked

Plenty of options for greataxe builds: Kensei Warpriest (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/426765-Kensei-Warpriest-for-new-players-(Human-12-8-Fighter-Cleric)), barbs (both pure (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/436179-Dwarven-Occult-Slayer-Pure-Barbarian-Build#post5251878) & MCed (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/428187-The-Battleragers-12-barbarian-4-Favored-Soul-4-Rogue)), a Cetus (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/433254-Cetus-The-Supreme-Bladeforged-Fighter) variant, Radiant Titan (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/427304-Radiant-Titan-revisited-Clr17-Pal2-Ftr1-melee-healing-spec) - really it depends on what you want. It would help if you narrowed your concept: "swings a big axe" is a pretty broad description. :)

Thanks for reply.. mostly looking at Dwarf wielding Great Axe.. Maul.. and hoping for Pure Fight build.. unless that really just not doable.. will being playing Normal and Hard mostly.. hoping to make into mid 20's.. have 32pt build.. a cple +2 stat tomes.. not sure that .. and average to below average gear for 16.. thanks in advance.

Pure fighter is still doable, though less than ideal due to low Reflex saves & no self-healing; but if your friend can handle the healing, then mostly you just need to learn to dodge traps & spells. :) See my Dwarven Defender for a couple of pure builds; if you want a Kensei which ditches S&B entirely, let me know if you need help adapting the build.
