Craftable trinkets in chests?

I just ran an EN Druid's Curse and in the chest at the eastern end of the Drow tunnel I got a Craftable +5 Trinket, BtCoA.

Since when do these drop in chests? I already had one on that char from Risia, just curious how new this is and where I might be able to farm one up for my alt :)

Since I've been playing IIRC (about 4 years at least). They have the non-static loot atribute, like Ioun Stones and the Bottle of Air. Their wiki entry (http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Trinket) gives their location as random also, like these other items (http://ddowiki.com/page/Category:Random_loot). I've looted from chests before, but very rare for me.

Craftable Trinkets have always dropped in chests, at least since they added Cannith Crafting, since it's almost the only way to get a blank Trinket to craft upon.

99.999% of the Trinkets in game are Named Items [typical example : Pearls of Power ], so Turbine had to add this option so that people could craft trinkets.

Risia is the other source of blank trinkets, and last you can deconstruct Shards of Power from The Shroud ( I don't remember witch one ) to get a Blank Trinket.

As others have said, the craftable trinkets have dropped in chests since they were added to the game.

Pre-MOTU, whenever I completed Epic Devil Assault, I would always get either an Astral Diamond or Trinket in a chest. No such luck there since MOTU though, although I've had both drop elsewhere in the game, with less frequency.
