Since the coupon for 25% off Haunted Halls was unlocked, I was wondering whether this pack may be worth picking up as a soloer. I expect that many of my characters will not be able to find many doors, and am not sure how many of the boss encounters would be doable either. I'd just like to get a sense from people who own the pack whether they consider it worthwhile for a soloer, as none of the quest review threads I have bookmarked deal with this pack.
All opinions are welcome, thanks in advance!

I played it on Lam with an artificer and had a great time with it. I have picked it up on live and my main is almost ready to enter. I am a soloist as well.

If you want a divine build, Healgolem's build in the FVS forum will get you through HH + bosses.
This pack is basically 1 quest tho, and if you want to solo the bosses you need chars with no fail evasion on Elite

I've solo'd the quest a few times on a few different toons. My trapper q-staff monk had a much easier time than my druid, who had a really hard time against the helmed horrors. Basically, it's very soloable(minus the optional end bosses-who are soloable, but more difficult)
Secret doors are not a must, just useful(all of the must ones can be found by true seeing on normal)
Damage is moderate, so evasion or high hp are necessary, but that's true of every quest.
Health pools are a bit high, so good dps is another good quality.
a few traps, evasion isn't a must, but it makes life 10x easier

haunted halls is one of my favorite quests going in with no spoilers I died 6-7 times in surprise areas.
you can complete the quest without the secret doors and the rogue hireling can disable traps and unlock doors for you to go the long way though they can't seem to find doors.

This is my favorite all time DDO quest!
Its worth it for many reasons and I solo it all the time. I farm it mostly on EH Extended, but every now and again I crawl it on the commentary mode, because I like listening to it while I play.
I jokenly refer to it as Haunted Hauls :)
This quest can be played and farmed in many different ways or just an afternoon with a cheese sandwich, bag o chips, and soda for dungeon fun!.
Here is a direct link to the loot, but you may not want to look at the rest of the thread, because if you've never run it before it will have spoilers. I went into the dungeon cold and avoided all prior intel and was very pleased with the experience. I died in ways I couldn't have forseen and it made for a thrilling and exciting afternoon!

BTW I've soled this with a pure L28 Morning Lord with no trapping ability and no hire after becoming comfortable with the build and dungeon. It took awhile, but doable for sure. I won't spoil it for you.
Haunted Halls is the best DDO dungeon in my opinion.

So far I ran Haunted Halls only once -- on Casual with bard 22 and a rogue hireling. I just let the hireling to beat up the electric statues while I kept throwing heals at him. Boss fight and Miior fight were actually fairly easy, just long -- especially Miior. I died and had to recall at doppleganger fight. May have been bad luck; doppleganger was at a sliver of health when I re-entered.
So a theoretically level 27 dungeon (28 on casual) can be soloed by a non-evasion level 22. Although he had maxed-out Fatesinger and twisted Energy Sheath Lightning (Draconic Incarnation), which helped a lot.

It's the perfect example of flowersniffing taken to epic levels.

I love this quest. I solo the extended version on eh on my rogue all the time. With his skills and self healing ability it is fun to farm it.

you can solo it.
BUT it will help enormously if you are a ranged character. Do not worry about doors, you can get it done without getting secret doors. However, as far as I know, you cannot get all the bosses in one run if you cannot open locks.

I personally found it very fun and refreshingly challenging on a so-so geared (ranged) character on EH. It usually comes with a couple unexpected death the first time.
Worth it in my opinion.
