So just how much time did you guys spend making another totally new and useless item that could have been better spent improving the game? I hope you all choke on parrot feathers and spend eternity cleaning bird dung off your cars.

Was the parrot idea something that members of the player council thought was wonderful?? Is it something that people in the forums were begging for???

Again Turbine has ignored the pleas to spend resources fixing the things that matter to players, things that make the gaming experience less enjoyable than it should be....... and instead were given another useless pet. Another pet that does absolutely nothing to make the game more enjoyable.

Turbine wants to make money. Players want broken things fixed. There is no money in fixing broken things........................... FINE FIX YOUR CRAPPY PROGRAMING AND CHARGE US FOR THE FIXES THEN!!

Amulet of the Ladder- Prevents you from ladder glitching when trying to escape up a ladder while being hunted down by a mob of creatures
Pen of Endless Ink- All maps in all locations will show the area you are in...because they didnt run out of ink drawing the new maps
Epic Pen of Endless Ink- Same as above but the people in quest with you will also show properly on map

I want fixes, turbine wants money.........I dont want stupid pets who know stupid pet tricks and I wouldnt buy them even if they cost 1tp.

With so many poor ideas being brought into the game, I cant help but wonder if Fernando calls a meeting and says You know what would be cool...PARROTS!!! Because Dungeon and Dragons is all about pirates and ships....and every kiss butt in the office tells him how smart he is and how eager they are to get to work on it right away

no doubt there are more important things to do, but i do doubt parrot took heavy work on it. i could guess, you need 2 people, designer and programmer, give to each 2 hours and voila... you have that parrot.

edit. but maybe im wrong. in the west you need company general director calls council, they have then whole day on hot discussion about feather color on parrot tail. another day they fight who took the job, then week to make THE "project", then another day council talk about presentation, parrot proportions, eye color and so on. then they need whole theam and week to make that poor parrot digitally alive. maybe... that is scenario.

I'm sure they have only one guy who works both as the art team and as a coder, so management decided to spend his time on something you don't care about specifically to mess with you.

likely these will take an half hour for graphic guy, another half hour for the voice actor..and perhaps 5 minute for them to come up with this design. so total of 65 minutes or work.
