I was thinking of getting the Bladeforged as they look really cool. However I have little interest in playing a Paladin. Do you have to take at least one level of Paladin in order to be a Bladeforged race? I thought a Bladeforged Wizard would be really cool, but don't want to do a Wizard/Paladin multiclass.

Yes you will have to take at least 1 level of paladin to start. It's not that bad. Currently I have a BF arty with 1 level pali and the rest arty and L18.
Also having a blast with a PDK that I took 2 PDK levels in, then 1 sorc, rest bard (12)
Lastly, I like my BF sorc, but only 1 level of pali and rest sorc. Went electric.

You can use a +1 heart of wood to get rid of the extra level.

Thanks! Btw I am looking at the Bladeforged racials and enhancements. They pretty much get all the Warforged racials, plus their bonus stuff?
They get Reconstruct as an SLA, which seems pretty awesome. +2 AC, +1 Saving Throws, -10% slashing damage. At the cost of 10% heal reduction, which doesn't really matter since I would be repairing myself anyways. Do you still get the repair paladin spells, even if you have 0 levels in paladin?

Nope, the repair spells are paladin specific (bladeforged) but a Bladeforged anything is still very awesome with the SLA
