Pretty straight forward, how is it determined and where is it found? I have look everywhere in game and on the boards I cannot find it.
It is a expensive choice to go tier 5 please provide a answer.

From what I understand, it uses the heroic enchantment DC and is cast at max bard level (Level 6)
I wasn't able to come up with a post that indicates this.

Yeah, I have heard that as well thanks for contribution. But as you indicate that is just a theory, how hard is it for Turbine just to give straight answer about this?
And why doesn't the DC appear on the shortcut bar like everything else? why would you put out a new ability and not have this listed there?

This. It is logic that determines this assumption. If you mouse over the sla, does it not give a dc?

No, it does not show up, which is why I am on the boards and not playing right now.
And if it follows logic? great! but where is the number listed? you only get one tier five, so pretty important to know.
Really how did this slip by? and people have been asking on Lama for this info as well, so how about turbine? can we get a straight answer and a timetable of when the number will show up in game?

No it does not, hence the discussion that is happening. Logic tells me that one should get clarification when it comes to SLAs. The Shout and Sonic Blast SLAs are not listing DCs either.

Exactly, this is a huge oversight on the release of new prestige enhancements.
Come on Turbine, what is the deal?

Yup. I mentioned that it is counted as a 6th level in another thread. This short response in the Spellsinger thread only tells me that the first two numbers in the DC calculation are 10 +6. It doesn't specifically state if the spell is affected by everything else that would affect a regular 6th level Bard spell. SLAs have very different DC mechanics depending on which one you use. Specificity is key.
Also, the SLA can be Heightened, which doesn't make sense if 6th is a Bard's max spell level. Being able to actually see the DCs or the calculations for it in the tooltip would be useful.

I might be missing something than, as far as I know every SLA that is an actual spell works the same way as casting the spell in regards to DC. Also there are already spells that can be heightened that are already max level (wail of the banshee comes to mind) and it just means that it doesn't increase the DC any. I can see your point about being good to see the DC, but for a long long time now (since U7? earlier?) SLA's have not shown a DC.

Just tested the Mass Hold SLA on a friend in the PvP pit. Used a melee 15bard/2rogue/2fighter. No caster feats, so this only confirms the base mechanic. The SLA DC is the same as your spell level 6 DC.

Well wouldn't you prefer they did? especially with so many variables involved?

An SLA such as Soundburst from Exalted Angel uses character level to calculate the DC. That's from an ED rather than an enhancement tree, but I still make no assumptions when it comes to game mechanics. I would like to know exactly what is intended and then be able to see if the spell DC is working as intended.
