- Map - is there any way to scale the map to full screen (without borders) or to zoom in? Would like to view it the way it s 4-5 updates ago.

- Chat box - is there any way to make the chat box background opaque (i.e. solid black or any color for that matter but I prefer black background)?

- What items are worth saving for the AH now, it "seems" like as a general rule anything +8 won't sell for much - whats the "state of the AH market" these days?

Maps - DDO wiki has maps u can play with

Chat Box - I may be confusing another game but I'm pretty sure u can change the chat box, no background to solid black.

Never noticed a fullscreen map before in ddo, for over 7 years. Was it a UI skin you used?

You should be able to use the eye icon to change the background of the chat box from blackened, to invisible, to solid.

Minute seeing. It doesn't drop often or at all, so that would and could sell for a lot. Also masterwork double slotted lootgens will sell for a lot since they can be deconstructed to the base item, leaving it with a -1 level modifier and 2 slots for augments. Everything else is pretty much 50% of what it used to be.

My +6 items on the AH have been fairly consistent sellers.

Click the little widget on the side of the circular map display to open it into a rectangular window. You can resize the rectangular view by dragging the edges just like a normal window.

To some extent, you just need to browse the AH to see what's in demand. My rules of thumb:

Stat tomes or the more important skill tomes (like Intim, Spellcraft, etc.). Regular tomes usually go for more than upgrade tomes.
"Clean" bonus items, particularly if they have "Masterful Craftsmanship" (reduces min lvl) or a desirable augment slot.
The better named BtCoE gear, esp. if it's part of a set.

could look for weapon sets like fire lore with combustion. Not a great deal of those not ridiculously priced on the ah

I consistently sell:

Mana potions
Invisibility potions
Various named gear - the useful kind.
Eberron dragon shards
Shroud mats

Depending on your pricing, almost all consumables and ingredients sell. As always there is a lot of trolling on the AH, like putting trivial items at 1-2mil plat buyout.
