Bard fast movement bug?

Hi

Can anyone confirm if Bard fast movement enhancement is working correctly.

Only level 6 at the moment, so cant comment on higher levels.
Reads as: fast movement: you run 5% faster for every three bard levels you possess.

level 6 bard from combat log: (Effects): --- Bardic Music modifier to Movement Speed: +6%

Shouldn't that be 10%?

I never stopped to test anything like this, but I'm level 18 and I can affirm I run faster than people when we're going a straight line.

That's what I learned in quests because I'm not feeling much faster at all. I do not believe Bard Fast Movement is applying the correct bonus, I should be running as fast as a Ranger under Sprint Boost I and I am definitely not.

Yeah it seems truly bugged. I will add that to the wiki.

This upsets me- 20% is not quite 30%.

Still a nice boost but would like to see it giving as much as advertised.

Yeah, this is one of the selling points of the swashbuckler. I can't imagine making one without that enhancement. Walking fast all the time is really cool.

When they remake Warchanter, you'll get a stacking 20% increase to movespeed so it will end up as 40% - still 10% faster than a Monk, but not the 50% I was expecting.

It'll be interesting to see whether or not the warchanter speed will stack with barbarian's 10% speed boost.

It will- the warchanter speed boost will be action boost, same as sprint boost.

It does- Barb fast movement stacks with everything.

pretty much all movement speed effects do not give as much as advertised. i think people have tested and found that most of the time you are getting about 4/5 of the listed bonus. also i would not trust the effects description or log...just take it and judge whether it is making me move faster at all or not. if it is, worth it.

This was actually fixed several updates ago. It was in the release notes that speed boosting gear would now provide the stated bonus. It was tested after that fix and found to be working correctly. No idea which update or where the testing can be found though.
