As per title..just curious, because I read in some other post you can take them bot at same time, but I'm pretty sure you can't. Anybody know that?
Thanks.

Pretty sure they can & there was a dev post relating to it.. but at work so can't verify for myself by just rolling up an iconic, sorry. Am planning to this evening to check out a couple things for a potential TR though.

Thanks for the answer, I have a 16 bard 2 fighter 2 rogue, and was planning a LR+1 for another fighter lvl but I'll probably wait a bit, till I know that this work for sure.

Yes they work together. I am not a fan, but I tested 12/6/2 before I TRed.

Keep in mind that you will not benefit from the Rage spell or Skaldic Rage when you use the stalwart defender stance.

Oh, didn't know that but anyway I'm a PDK cha based, and I don't have skaldik rage, that mean I have to give up just rage spell, but I think it's worth it, for some PRR, +3 to all save, +20% HP, +9 fortification and knockdown on vorpal (19-20 with perfect single weapon fighting).

Yes it works.
Its nice to fix up low HP, and give more survivability.

Remember you need 6 fighter levels to actually get the stalwart stance, not 3 as suggested from your mention of the LR+1...3 fighter will at least get you the extra knockdowns though.

You right made a big mistake...core 3 need level 6 fighter...ouch...need to think about that now...

Was the same with me, running around getting my arsed kicked on EE as Fatesinger with 400hp, then I discovered stalwart defender and Swashbuckler works with 3 other stances.
Now at 1400hp, much higher damage ( switched empty hand to buckler and never looked back)
I once got 9 crits in a row each from 500-700damage and that's a Charisma maxed bard.

Next life I will drop all bard songs and just go for 5bard/12 fighter/3rogue or 7bard.
The EE solo ability is very very good.
