Its somewhat annoying that if you've already completed the main objective of a Challenge, and you die afterwards while pursuing additional points, you still need to wait until time runs out to collect the mats you've already earned. If you release, you wipe the Challenge entirely and get nothing.

Change it so that, on Release (or Recall/Teleport), it performs the "point check" it normally does when the quest completes, so that you can collect your earnings early if you so desired, rather than just stare at your soulstone for 5 minutes (as I'm doing now...)

Would this allow for quicker farming of some quests? Sure, maybe - but you're almost always going to get better mats per minute if you keep grinding out the whole time for bonus points, so I don't think its going to open any exploitative loopholes.

The only challenges where I've found this to be desirable are the Rushmore challenges. The very last thing you usually manage to do in these is to open the last dang door . . . which gives you 2 minutes you now have to wait through. The Time Foreman can be useful for getting rid of that extra time, though, but he's only in Picture Portals.

SIgned. Sort of. I don't care about death, but I should be able to finish out anytime I want and complete as long as the first star is done.
