Since I just lost all my epic stuff in 2-3 green bags ..

And it seems that
(Admin): ++ tells you, 'We do have a system that does that. It is called 'Lost and Found'. We have that, because we cannot determine what was in the bag. If that did not work, I am afraid we have no additional backup.'
I would love to see that "lost and found" system improve

You'll get your stuff back. Be patient. The current Lost and Found system is actually very good. It just taxes our patience since we want our stuff NAOW. Still, you'll get it back and that's what counts.

in my experience it either shows up in under 5 minutes or it shows up in about 24 hours.
So far though it always shows up. This includes my bag that had ALL my Shroud ingredients that I had gathered since Shroud showed up.
From that perspective it does work pretty good.

I learned the hard way (or not very hard?) that it will even show up if you TR in between losing the item and having it sent to you.

I tried to get rid of a medium green bag. They sent it back. I destroyed it again. They sent it back. I destroyed it again. They sent it back.
And now I can't detach it from my mail, can't destroy the mail, GM told me to fill a ticket on website, website says they can't do anything. So I have an undestroyable mail that remains in mailbox for two lives now.

It looks like you asked the in game GMs for help. They won't. Call or write customer service; you will probably make more headway there. I want to say someone had a similar issue about a year ago and it's in a thread here, but my brain is fried, so perhaps someone else can work their search fu to find it for you. I mention it because it was resolved, and IIRC one of the Turbine people on the forums stepped in to make it happen (maybe Cordovan?). It might give you an idea of what direction to go in if customer service doesn't work.

That might not be a bad idea. You could PM Cordovan with all the particulars and if nothing else he should be able to point you in the right direction. Afterall it's kinda his job to liaison between the company and the players.

I find it helps if the bag doesn't show back up in the first ten minutes to log out and back into the toons. About 80% of the time the bag is there for me on login.

I don't know if this person ever got his bags back, but Gazebo was investigating it. It also mentioned that they check once a month for stuff to return, though I'm not sure if that's still applicable after the lost and found system was instituted.
My advice would be to file a bug report here: http://ddobugs.turbine.com/ics/support/ticketnewwizard.asp?style=classic
and then follow up with a PM to one of the Turbine people on the forums. Be polite; whomever you contact certainly had nothing to do with you losing your bag, but they may be able to help. Good luck, I hope it works for you.

Uncertain if this will help you, but, it has helped me in the past; I have TR'd a toon with a full inventory and thought I was missing items after TR. Turns out that if you have a full inventory you can move existing items present in your inventory and the 'missing' items reappear. Usually, you have to remove multiple items before reappearance.

I will try the "full inventory" idea .. can´t loose ;-)
Sadly the account support can´t help at all with in-game items.
", Account Support does not have access to in-game information and does not have any information regarding what is possible or not possible to recover. If the In-Game team said that they are not able to assist, I do not have any further suggestions for you."
And since the "lost and found" didn´t work .. the in-game gms can´t do anything either.
Looks like i have to ´face the "frustration wall"

Sadly the invetory trick didn´t work
Since i thought "give it another in-game" try i was now pointed to bug report ..
with this statement
(Admin): +r+ tells you, 'Sorry, but I'm afraid there is nothing that anyone will be able to do in regards to retrieving your lost items. Your bug report will assist our development team in researching why items are randomly disappearing from player's storage. '
Why on erath did the bug monster destroyed all my epic stuff in green bags and left the rather useless bags unharmed ..
I hope i still can enjoy the game , once my temper cooles down.
