armor unequipping on re-log

Did a search couldn't find anything.

Whenever I log in, my armor is unequipped. Known issue? Any workarounds?

I've had on occasion had an issue when I logged in where certain abilities don't get applied; Such as UMD, racial enhancements, even Feats. Doing a re-log usually fixes this.

This does sound like a bug and should be reported.

I remember asking about this back when I'd gotten a race-restricted to wrong race armor on my (melee) bard. Had just enough UMD to equip it with a gear swap, in place of my +Str item... or maybe I needed to cast Heroism too or some such... anyway, not a big deal for a bard.

I was first told just that my bard is sort of kinky and likes to run around naked when I'm not watching...

Anyhow, if it requires something that isn't constantly on, this kind if thing could happen at the time.


Later though, when some items went up in minimum level (armors of Invulnerability at least), they did NOT get taken off at logout/login but at some point started to cause the Burden of Guilt debuff... fortunately I'd managed to level all of my characters that had those up to the armors' new MLs by then.

I have to say that I greatly prefer the unequipping to the Burden of Guilt. (Does the latter happen too, still?)

This happens on one of my alts. He has Celestial Chainmail that says level 2 and minimum level 22. My alt is lvl 5 and whenever I log in with him he's naked. But that doesn't happen on any other armor on any of my other toons.

My armor is Planeforged Medium level 2, min level 22. Maybe that's the common denominator.

But that doesn't happen on any other armor on any of my other toons.Sounds to me that the bug isn't that your armor would be off when you log in. The bug is that you can put that armor on at all below level 22.
