TWF with TF weapons

So, I'm wondering if it's better on a TWF build with tier 3 ThunderForged weapons to go with Mortal Fear on both weapons, or if it would be better to have Mortal Fear on mainhand and off hand go something like Crippling Flames or 3rd Degree Burns?

I was thinking something like:

Tier 1 - 1st degree burns(both weapons)
Tier 2 - Either Dragons Edge, or Wrath of Shadows
Tier 3 - Mortal Fear(mainhand), Offhand ????

Offhand seems to be a toss-up to me at the moment, since I don't have any personal experience with the weapons yet...

What looks good to me though is:
Crippling Flames
Mortal Fear
Draconic Reinvigoration
Or maybe even Healing Lore since I'm a fleshy? <- this one being the odd man out and probably the least likely.

I'm just not sure if having dual Mortal Fear weapons is as nice as it looks on paper.
I'm thinking it's maybe similar to neg levels in that after the first time it hits, a flat out DPS option would be better since the return on it isn't as high?
Especially since (IIRC) it doesn't work on red/purple named mobs, just on Orange/Trash mobs?

Also I think I remember someone testing it somewhere on the forums and Vulnerability can at most stack once per second per character. So it might not be the best setup to do 1st on both weapons. And definitely Rein on the offhand. Getting boosts back will be more dps than whatever else you might have there.

It entirely depends on the weapon you plan to use. Crippling flames can be really sweet with the fire on crit damage on things like khopesh's or it can be a terrible tier 3 like on a heavy pick. Crippling flames is actually better on some weapons than mortal fear, so would need to know the weapon before choosing. The draconic reinvigoration is really good but it is only good to swap in every 100 seconds, so I wouldn't count it completely as a best offhand. Otherwise you are getting 0 damage for 100 seconds (the tier 3 at least) until you can get a boost. Mortal fear is a good all around tier 3 choice but can be beat out by crippling flames depending on the weapon and what you are fighting.

As for a tier 1, your off hand should probably be touch of flames. I don't think having 2 1st degree burns weapons makes it stack any faster. (could be wrong on this)

Yes, that's what I was leaning towards most of all.
Getting Hastboosts back would be very nice. Although I'm not sure I understand how it works 100%.
Do I get a charge back from 1 random action boost(Haste/damage/DM)?
Or do I get back 1 charge back in ALL action boosts?

I'll probably be using Warhammers, on a 14Ranger/4Paladin/2Fighter split.

Hmm, you have a good point; if it only procs once every 100 seconds I'd be better off with something else in that timeframe, although I'd probably just end up forgetting to swap back weapon sets. Lol

Lack of discussion because :
Either people with duped stuff that don't need any real comparison, they can make something else instantly anyway. Mortal Fear screenshot in 2 days, right on.
Super hardcore with Phlog trading, focusing on one toon ONLY.

~60 - 70 runs ( some 10 on EE, rest EH ) on 3 toons and I am not even close to tier 3 ( and down to 300 of each scale and 500 ingots after making 3 armours, tier 2 caster stick for wizzy and cleric and ONE tier 2 rapier on ranger ).

And both Crippling Flames and Mortal Fear need Shadow Phlogs, melee folks might want items from 20 th ( sure is tempting to get a shiny after 20 unlucky runs rather than some 10 crafting things )
Tier 3 is just so far away for most folks yet. Or even impossible.
I bet we will see more discussion when more start thinking about those things.

Pep kind of nailed it all. I'm personally going for 1st, Edge, Mortal on my sword. But whatever you figure out here I'll use for Sereine. She needs 4 different weapons for the ultimate me-likey setup. Just need to actually start really farming those raids more.

Thinking 2 Scimitars set up like whatever is thought up here, 1 falchion and a bow. Falchion set up like Night's bastard for trash dps. Probably go Touch of Flames, Edge, Mortal fear for cleavetarding happiness.

2 Warhammers, 2 Khopesh, 2 Shortswords, 1 Bow, 1 Greatsword/Great Axe/Falchion(whichever turns out to be better).

Made one Tier 3 warhammer so far.
Touch of flames/ Dragon's Edge/ Mortal Fear - pure trash beater. Love that thing.
I'll keep Mornh as mainhand for now.

Draconic Reinvigoration restores all of your boosts by 1. It's really interesting for DM users, since you can get it every 100 secs and DM can last 120.
The only quest where I'd want it though for action boosts would be the new raids on EE.
Have 13 uses of 5 different action boosts, so they last quite a while for me in any shorter quest (yea, I'm an addict to those boosts).
