It occurred to me very recently that there is something very odd about the concentration skill: it only applies to spell casting, and not other potentially "interruptible" actions. In particular, I find if very curious that the slightest amount of damage (e.g. a 1 hit point glancing blow from a kobold) will interrupt you when try to open a door, or pull a lever. I would have thought that this is exactly the sort of thing that having a high concentration skill would help against. Doesn't it seem strange that a person, suitably skilled, could ignore significant pain so that they could continue the rather complex task of casting a spell (with verbal, somatic and material components), but that same person would be unable to maintain their focus to complete a much simpler task like opening a door?
Suggestion: Allow all hp-loss related interruptions to be ignored on a successful concentration check.
Exception: Using a rest shrine (hopefully the reasons for this exception are obvious)
