Anyone know of a good build for a Xbow focused Artificer?
I'm looking to make my character good at buffing and ranged DPS (a long with the utility of disabling traps).

Warforged (or bladeforged), use https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/386775-Dubbell-O-Seven-casting-ranged-focused-artificer
If you aren't using a 36 point build, just make sure you're hitting 21 dex (start + level ups + tomes) for Improved Precise Shot, crank up your int and put what you have left over in con.

What you have available?
32, 34 or 36 point builds?
Races? etc?
There are lot's of posts on a good build.
But generally max out int followed by con. May like Warforged, but I won't due cyborgs. Fleshies are the way. H-Elf with Rogue Dillie for SA damage is awesome. Drow for Int bonus is excellent. Human for heal amp and extra feat (construct essence perhaps) is excellent.
Your int should be so high you will not have to worry in the slightest about trapping skills, even as a first lifer.

unfortunately Arty's are fairly simple...be single-class (their capstone is amazing and everything is based on their level even more so than other casters) high Dex/Int...go either WF (BF would cost an LR+1 and is worse imo especially due to -2 dex) or one of the Dex races w/ Construct Essence...take all the standard ranged feats (see DDO wiki - feats - ranged) and Quicken, Maximize and Empower (no Extend as it does not effect arty spells)
Done. Very boring I wish they worked in some decent synergies with other classes...that said the class itself is quite fun...just building one is boring and a big part of my DDO habit is character building :P
Note: Construct essence s actually a pretty meh feat but being a 8 foot tall WF just doesn't feel right right with some people. Really wish the devs would sell a "scout model" in the DDO store. It only needs to be a cosmetic change no mechanical changes. Also I really wish we could see a Re-Forged as Arty's 3rd prestige tree so a fleshy arty can embrace tech as part of their body (core 1 would likely replace the feat)

Currently I have Drow and H-elf unlocked in addition to the standard races.
At this point I only have the 32 point build unlocked.
Also thanks for replying to this thread guys!

If you are going warforged and decide to splash, you might as well go Bladeforged. With reconstruct SLA you get a lot of healing, you get 2 level 6 spells at level 16, this doesn't increase till level 19. So an easy splash for more healing, better saves, evasion, and more trapping ability would be 16 artificer / 2 rogue / 2 paladin.
Self healing via a quickened reconstruct is extremely good and can make your character viable into Epics.

I already stated I don't have either of those races ._.
Do you have any suggestions with that mind?

I prefer human arty and take the feat Construct Essence. Some peeps prefer Drow.
Too bad you don't have Bladeforgered. Take CThruTheEgo's Dubbell O'Seven build and put it into a Bladeforgered container. Very impressive indeed.

H-Elf provides some good bonuses with the rogue Dilly for sneak attack damage.
Drow will provide bonuses to INT and SR.
Human will provide you with an extra feat.
H-Elf might be your best beat for damage.
Contrary to what was suggested above, I wouldn't bother much with Dex. INT should be your primary stat, everything you can get with dex (except AC) you can get with INT.
As 32 point build I'd go INT 18 CON 16 min and rest as you want. Dex would be fine, Str for carrying capacity, Cha for UMD but with your skill points that won't be a problem. Put all level ups into your INT.
Feats that I run with my arty as a must
Maximize
Quicken
Point Blank Shot
Insightful Reflexes
Precision
Precise Shot
Improved Precise Shot
IC: Ranged
Rest can be for flavor. Dodge line can be good. Or more spell Meta's yoru call. Just know that extend doesn't work with almost all Arti spells so that would be a wasted feat.
You read around the forums and there are lot's of opinions about construct essence. Read if you want, but give it a try and have your own experience. You can always get rid of later. No you will not be able to reconstruct for as much as a warforged and being healed by a Cleric will suck, but that does not mean it is not useful. I have a human arti with reconstruct that hits me for about 500-800 a pop. That is full self-healing to me, and I have no desire to get rid of it.
I also run with Dragonmark of passage for DD.
Enhancements play around with to find what you like. Most find rather lack luster performance in Epics out of the Arcano tree.
My personal prefence is the BE tree as I use the rune arm a great deal and being able to run at full speed (BE teir 5) is a huge must for me.
If going Drow I would get all the core. Nice to haves Arcane Fluidity, Keen Senses to Nothing is Hidden line. And Improved Dodge.
H-Elf Get all the improved Dillie line but avoid the special abilities. Arcanum is good for more spell points, but your won't need to SP so it's up to you.
At 20th level Arti's get +2 to INT, and 4 6th level spells. Most all of them I consider required. BB, Tactical Detonation, Reconstruct, and Deadly Weapons.
Given that, if you want you can splash 2 lvls of something else for another option Rogue for SA and Evasion certainly makes sense, just realize the cost you are paying for that (in giving up 2 6th lvl spells).
Again play around with it and see what you like. Most of us like to use Ron's character planner (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/427100-Character-Planner-Series-4-xx) to try things out.
