So... when can we expect a reward for this PDK rank?
Might I recommend one free upgrade at the PDK Patron Vendor? :)

How about a free BtoC gold seal hireling, level 26 purple dragon knight? Would be in keeping with the theme that you've actually hit high rank if you can command one of their lower-ranked knights :)

I like the idea, but it has the same limitation as the Spotted Wolf Pup—it would be a one off, and TR's would get no further benefit from achieving this rank ever again.

Right after we can expect a reward for the Twelve rank, "Member of the Twelve"?

I took a look at favor the other day and there's a low where Turbine can now add that third (or even 4th) great reward for favor. I think it's time for them to make it so.

Agree...
What if... What if there was such a thing as a companion that grows in rank and power as you do... similar to a druid wolf or arti dog... Whe you are 1st level, so it your companion, 2nd, 3rd, etc...

I think a permanent scaling gold seal hire would be extremely unbalanced for TRing...plus, there's a reason there's no Summoner-type class - the more hires/pets you run with, the more resources it draws and the higher potential for lag/slowdowns/etc. Plus plus, every new permanent pet multiplies the effects of buffs.

Then what's the difference between this idea, and having a wolf for a druid or an iron defender pet for an arti?
unbalanced: Same concept - An arti can't have two defenders running around unless one is a summon, even then it's not scaling like the companion. And so what if there is a slight edge, with all the other P2W things going on, this wouldn't make a bit of difference in the greater scheme of things. No one is crying about the arti dog anymore, nor are they crying about the druid dog. Both give a distinct advantage over not having one, and yet with their screwy AI, balance seems to be met somewhere in there. Also, ho many of these things would actually be running around... you think every player in the game is gona reach that amount of favor? The vast majority don't even get past getting a muster key (if that far).
Oh, and a fix for the lag potential you mention this might cause... get rid of that ridiculous druid transformation issue. Completely not necessary. Get rid of some of the unnecessary animations that cause so much resource drains... maybe , just maybe some of the problems most of these resource drains cause will go away, and less server crash issues.

I vote for a greater key that would teleport you to wheloon, eveningstar or thunderholme area.
Because I hate running around all the time.

I'd be happy with a key that works once per rest, instead of once per half hour of logged-in real time.
(I hate it when I log in for the first time in 12 hours...and my key is still on cool-down for another 20 minutes!)

They just need a favor vendor that sells omnispell dust. A thousand plat per 10 dust (ten times the price of level 9 components). It'd be a decent plat sink for top players, and a terrific convenience.

How often do you run to 0 sp in a quest? If the answer is never, might I suggest Eschew Materials? It opens up inventory space also!

1) frequently. Sp that I don't use is wasted, so I use it up in every quest where I know the shrine locations. Plus, 2 sp/spell adds up fast.
2) if the favor reward was eschew materials as an autogrant, I'd be fine with that too (but then it wouldn't be a plat sink). Otherwise, I have much more important feats to take.

Both the PDK favor and the Twelve favor could have the same solution - have them grant you a free armor appearance kit appropriate to the patron.
"Congrats, you're officially a member - here's your uniform!"

Gold seal, and sinds all ready we can rename our pets, would rock if we could rename our permanent gold seal hirelings.
That way we could use more then one of the same kind at once?

100k plat for a full stack of 1000 might be a tad TOO sinky - but then again I'm not at full endgame yet, maybe the plat comes fast enough to offset that. You just don't want it to be a net-negative for the average player; that is, you don't want it to cost more than you'd earn, on average, by the time you cast 1000 spells, or else you'll have to carry some standard components anyway and then the whole thing is pointless. Plus, people will still be able to find them in chests or get them with DD to post on the AH, and that's going to set a ceiling on the market price for dust.
The idea of sinks is they, as a whole, attempt to equilibrate the aggregate rate of plat creation in the game. So all the sinks combined (repair fees, AH fees, vendor purchses being the current big ones) should balance out, each sink should only be a fraction of the "cost", with the best sinks being optional ones (ie conveniences) rather than a "tax on play" (ie repairs or mandatory vendor purchases like components).
Ideally, I think, you'd have 20% "tax" type and 80% "optional" type, since your "optional" types will be used more often if the economy gets overinflated and people are flush with cash, adding some self-correction to the system.
Regardless, I've always been behind this suggestion (since I thought it up once myself heh)
Then what's the difference between this idea, and having a wolf for a druid or an iron defender pet for an arti?
Couple things...first, Arti and Druid pets are tied to your Arti/Druid level (and same for Skellies with PM), not your char level. So if you're not a pure, then your pet is weaker, whereas a scaling hireling would scale based on your char level. The pet is part of the Arti/Druid class concept, just like "healing" is part of being a Cleric and "tactics" is part of being a Fighter. It'd be like saying that Sorcs and Wizards should be allowed to purchase all the Cure and Heal spells for their spellbooks, so they can heal like Clerics, but without having to multiclass or give up any of their Arcane abilities in exchange...
Second, Gold Seal Hires are on top of everything else. So everyone could get a second Hireling, and then Artis and Druids would get a third (fourth, if you count an actual Summon as well). Plus one more, if you're at a level to pop the Owlbear or Panther too, since you can have multiple GSHs.
Third, at high levels Hirelings greatly outperform class pets. They get a great number of autogrant affixes on their "equipment" - Death Ward, immunities, HP, fort, PRR, etc. - whereas class pets only get 1 armor slot and 1 weapon slot, plus a set of enhancements that only really contains 1 worthwhile thing, Improved Evasion. Hirelings get stats that continue to scale, and scale much better than class pets.
Both the PDK favor and the Twelve favor could have the same solution - have them grant you a free armor appearance kit appropriate to the patron.
"Congrats, you're officially a member - here's your uniform!"
Except that if you're a PDK you already have the uniform and would get... nothing.

/Signed, especially if it doesn't share a cooldown with the other key.
I'll create 1,000 dummy accounts to sign as well if it will help.
