I've been having targeting and range issues with Dragon Breath since the latest patch. Precisely, when a couple of mobs are in front of me, my Breath will hit only one of them when it is supposed to hit both. Also, if I have targeted a mob that is not in front of me but a bit on the right/left, the breath SOMETIMES only hit that one mob and not the ones in front of me as well.

Kinda the same problem goes for range: mobs that are REALLY close to me don't get hit by my DBreath when they are right in the way.

Also, the new animation (at least for Electric breath) is kinda wrong: the breath does actually look smaller than earlier and it points to the ground.

Is anyone else experiencing these same problems? These only appeared after the new patch, when they tried to fix DBreath and I'm pretty sure I'm not making things up. Been playing a sorcerer forever and never had these problems before.

i have been having a lot of trouble with it hitting. Sometimes when a mob is right in my face the dragon's breath looks like it deflects off him and shoots back my way and does no damage.

Exactly! You said it way better than I did. This is exactly the problem I'm having as well and it's really ****ing me off

This is stupid. I even missed a Phylactery in EE Deathwyrm end fight with dragon breath and it was right in front of me

Same problem here (Electric Breath). It looks like all the effects for electric spell attacks have been
modified. Everybody bug it please.

Yes.

The same goes for any ranged Arcane spell. If they get too close, the odds that you'll hit are literally a **** shoot.

If you have a larger target hard targeted then this is WAI

Just played my caster a bit and fireball sometimes didnt do anything, you see animation, fireball goes off, hits mobs, but does no dmg, and they didnt save.

There are quite a few threads of this issue posted - I believe they are all connected to the same bug, which is a targeting issue.

Mind you, I've always had problems with Dragon Breath - it won't hit stuff slightly uphill or if there is a tiny rock in the way (the opposite of what you'd think if it was really dragons breathing death on you).

I kind of wonder if whoever programmed this also programmed boulder toss, since it also can't hit except if your enemy is absolutely level with you.

There was an old targeting bug that was fixed. It has reared its ugly head again. IIRC the devs are aware, so check the tracker for last week.

Hm, this might be the case. It's a pretty serious issue if they are all connected to the same targeting problem, can't understand why no Dev has spoken yet and why we had no hotfix already.

I see no Dev thread on this issue actually.
