Okay, so here it is the 26th (8:00AM, Pacific Time), and Cordovan has posted that the Festival would run
"...through the 27th..., and I have my 3 Tokens (and am at VIP status) - and yet Taj tells me, "Woe, the
Traveler is not here; save your tokens for the future..." or the like.
???
Last time I checked, early morning on the 26th of a month was well before "through the 27th" of the same month.
Anyone else having this problem?

They disabled the Festival awhile ago.

Yes. And then 'they' came back (in the person of Cordovan) and said it was Up again.
"...through the 27th..."
waitaminute; I'll find it for you...
Okay, here's the link:

I watched, in real time, as the linked post:
1st> Announced the Festival...
2nd> Declared it borken...
3rd> Changed the original posted date of "through the 25th" to "through the 27th"
and announced it as Up again.

The way I read that is that the only pertinent information is after the "UPDATE: The Festival of the Traveler has been disabled..." Whatever it says the event runs til afterward or what have you has no bearing because the latest word from that thread was it's closed. If they reopened it, they would have announced in the thread as well that it was back up, just like they posted it would close and then ALSO edited their OP.
If it really did come back up, they did a very poor job of informing the community at large as all the complaint/feedback threads stopped dead and everyone I know is awaiting the return.

(Just as an aside, my theory is that by handing out Tokens which can't be used
and Card Bags which won't be usable after a certain date - and so forth - Turbine
are generating revenue through Inventory-Bag/Bank-Slot sales. Just a theory...) :D

It could be, I'll admit - but I swear I remember that thread ENDING with Cordovan's changed-date announcement.
However, there's always the possibility that I was drunk at the time, so who can say for certain?
Socrates supposedly said, "I know that I know nothing," and is credited as being a wise man. (Of course, he drank hemlock and died, so draw your own conclusions...)

Nothing to do with the point of this thread, but the way you stated Socrates' death kind of bothered me.
Socrates drank hemlock because he was sentenced to die. I don't see how being sentenced by a court is a reflection of his wisdom.

A wise man stays out of trouble with the law? I guess you could argue he had no choice but to make those enemies, but in the end, dude died. We weren't even there to confirm the truth of this entire matter.
Honestly what they said shouldn't bother you because before he mentions how the sage died, he admits that "I know that I know nothing." Pretty sure they aren't out to rewrite hard facts or discredit long dead icons, just being humble.
