hoarding through lives...

Does anyone else have things they hold onto through tr's ect that isn't that great? For example on my main i have:

roddericks wand

eternal wand of magic missiles(min lvl 1 caster lvl 3 and 20 potency)

eternal wand of cure minor wounds

lvl11 wand oc scorching ray

And a few more things;mainly because this might be useful...include all the cookies i either forget i have or dont use because ,im stubborn or unwilling to waste them.

Totally guilty! I did purge my TR bank a few days ago and finally let of of (pre loot-upgrade, so you know how long I've had them!) Deific Diadem and Unwavering Ardency from Abbot. Never used them, finally admitted I probably never would. Still tons of stuff in my bank that I've either never used or used once.

Not talking about all the adq pointles raid gear or von pointles gear..
Best one i can never make myself to trash is the helm from titans..


I am guilty of the charge of being a hoarder.

Hehe, I know this, @OP. Rodderics Wand, have it in my TR cache... Never used it since I got it. Lol.

I think I really should do some garage sales on all my stuff that´s btcoe or so... I have some Rings of Trolish Regeneration and Mantles... Heck. I always think I might use them one day and then I outgro them that fast and never put a look on them anyway.

I use it in Epic content. The extra dog/spider/scorpion can be a nice addition when the mob aggro hits. Don't expect the summon to last too long, but in a few seconds I can put out the DPS and even the odds.

There are too many BtC items and I'm a hoarder :.....(

On a positive note I started using the xp elixers and such that I was hoarding to clear some space. I just have to remember deep breaths for every time I use one : ) )

I used to be bad. Hoarding everything. I've learned that there is rare gear and easy-to-get gear. I dump all common gear unless they are going to be used next life. ToD belts and necklaces gets vendored (I keep the rings and maybe one belt or necklace for my next life's class) they take up too many spots. i Keep one set of Chrono gear for leveling.

Funny thing, I still have The Bloodstone. Just can't get rid of it, too many memories (ritualized to prevent permanent damage).

Yes, I am a confessed hoarder! I have 13 mule toons (to hold useless stuff like the Vial of Slumberdust) and max inventory and bank space on my main. My TR cache is always full :)

It has been suggested before that we should have a character "trophy case" where we can "record" named items like this that we no longer wish to take up space. Of course the best place to "display" this would have been MyDDO which they got rid of. Since they didn't want to take the effort to upkeep MyDDO I can't imagine they will bother to create something like this :(

I also hang onto things like this as mementos.

I thought I was bad until FAQ said they have the Vial of Slumberdust. Which I believe is an end reward from STK.

That means someone is worse than me.

My worst hoard is all the weapons I put old Icy burst on on two servers. And they were all nerfed. I did get rid of the sceptres I had with glaciation on them that became level 24 or whatever they were. I am sure I will find some more if I look.

How much Mithril Armor and Shields do you have? That is another massive hoard I have. I cant even get rid of any of it, because, well, just because.

I trashed a Phylactery of Raiyum that was somehow in my TR cache, and a few days later, I got it back via mail courtesy of Stormreach Lost and Found.

I can't even destroy the junk. :(

If I ever pull the Elemental Mithril Breastplate from Tempest Spine, it will become a hoarded item along with Snakeskin Vest. But when I realised that Mithril and "Leveled" medium armor types were incompatible and that Mithril Chain Shirt was almost pointless (hello?) I lost interest in them.

However, I loaded out my ranger's empty backpack space with summoned AA arrows before I tr'd him. Now I am loath to touch them as they are gone at the end of a play session once used.

I have a mule that has about 40 wide quivers, storing all the crazy kinds of arrows and bolts.

I... I don't have a plan to use it. Even if I wanted to, it's not sorted in any fashion, so it'd be nearly impossible.
