Hello folks,

I’ve been debating with myself far too long, so I thought I should hit the forum and ask for a few opinions.

I’m about to TR for what I believe to be the last TR for a while. My past lives thus far have been: 1xFvS, 3XMonk & 3XPal. I’m thinking of taking my next life to 28+ and I want to visit/revisit many of the quests out there. There are just too many options.

I tend to solo most of the time, so I’m looking for survivability. With the 3 past lives of monk, I am thinking of taking the past life feat for some fantastic unarmed damage. The problem with monk is I find there are too many buttons, although that has gotten better with experience. I also like to ability to open locks and disarm traps, even though I can evade most of the damage from traps.

I’m not necessarily looking for the “umber” build, just not something that would be frustrating. Here are my thoughts so far, in not particular order:

1. Ranger/Rogue/Fighter (18/1/1)
2. Monk – 20 (Dwarf)
3. Monk/Rogue/Fighter (18/1/1)
4. Monk w/Paladin dilettante
5. Fighter/Monk/rogue (12?/6?/2?) – THF

So, anyone bored enough to present their thoughts?

Thank in advance!

#5 but...
13/6/1 Rogue/Monk/(Druid or Fighter)

Not sure about race. Halfling seems to be the "favorite" because of DM's allowing you heals from 1-28 and the Racial SA and saves you can acquire making it really fun. H-Orc would be the next option because of the +Dam w/2-handers and IPA. But it basically matches #5 just with a little different split.
