- The Monk's Quivering Palm ability is getting some revisions related to its DC, as part of investigation into balancing Death effects. Quivering Palm no longer benefits from Sundering bonuses. However, whenever an enemy saves vs. Quivering Palm, you get a stacking +4 bonus to your Quivering Palm DC. This stack is dispelled when you successfully kill someone with Quivering Palm. We are keeping an eye on these numbers and they may be changed in the future.
- Restored general Tactical combat boosts to Quivering Palm (but not Sundering effects specifically).
hmmm... maybe the could actually fix this? -> Restored general Tactical combat boosts to Quivering Palm (but not Sundering effects specifically).
(Combat Mastery not working at the moment, tactics bonus from meditation of war fire stance not working, don't think the bonus from the GMoF inate abilities that increase DC's work either)
Can we have this fixed? pretty please?

Now, I'd hate to be a bother, but "trading" cards would be a lot easier if the AH/ASAH would recognize them properly. ;)

Folks, it's been implemented. Turbine isn't going to change it now, that would cost money. Some big mucky muck got a feather in his hat for suggesting it and they can't take the feather away or someone would have to admit they were wrong. That is not going to happen within an IT department. They have never been wrong and they will never make a mistake. It as always the users fault.

I think it would actually be more along the lines of needing contracts to be altered, and that is something very difficult to push through.

Since when did an update ever NOT need a quick downtime patch? Remember when CITW was first spewed out and kind of fixed here and there. PPL waiting an hour for a GM to spawn the chests which is still happening with the new RAYDs. If they didn't push this thing to live the lead manager would be ding'ed for missing a deadline.

You're the sucker for spending that much time expecting something. No new major update has had its share of game-breaking bugs upon release. Go play something else for a while the new mold chills and gets fixesup. 'Merica. Sad But True.

Well, given that they already pushed it back by 2 weeks from the original plan (to fit with the 40th / 8th birthday), I think its a bit unfair to say it had to go out regardless. Apart from bugs in the new raids and the purposely added Akemai and changes in what proccs from Shiradi Rainbow and Colors of the Queen, so far I have not seen many unwanted consequences of this update, so I would say its a pretty solid effort

So far there only has been one... OK, about 28 hours after thecoriginal patch, this is quite fast and may be the record for hotfix after patch, but what the heck... They still have to beat the many hotfixes after MotU.

Ha, I love that this is now an "issue" that they're "working to get ... fixed in the future."
Whereas yesterday, according to Vargouille, it was a deliberate change working as intended and they were just "happy" for some feedback:
As we have done since these abilities have existed (and previously stated, though not explicitly in the text of the abilities), we expect to continue to update the 100+ possible effects available to Double Rainbow and Colors of the Queen. Nearly every update has had some changes, some more commented on than others.
As a small point of information, no single effect has a higher chance than all other effects. There's a few dozen equally rare/common effects, which as a group are more common than other effects. Some groups of effects are much more rare, but there aren't any single effects that are far more common than all others, nor even slightly more common than all others.
We were happy for you guys to provide feedback on this for at least one day before jumping the gun with any kind of kneejerk responses or reactions, as this is a subjective area. Thank you for the feedback.
Not that I don't appreciate the update from both Vargouille and Cordovan, but either there's some confusion or this is pretty disingenuous.

you guys seem to be very nice about this. I find it really annoying that we have to put up with fixes, lag and any other annoyance when we pay for the service. I don't seem to see them reimbursing us for their mistakes. they should be professional enough not to send out updates that need fixes, they should have the money invested to ensure minimal lag during game play and they should have fair enough business policies to reimburse us for even a minute of down time if it is due to them.

yes, the d20 now works (for now, lets see if it does tomorrow!) - by the way, Cordovan is the timer supposed to reset after 18h, like the daily dice, or is it exactly 24h from rolling or something else? If you tell us, we will know what to expect and save you from people feeling uneasy in 18:05 from now.

I take it that your money comes from trees, I work for mine. Any item you pay for you expect to get service for it. No service no pay. So if ddo needs to fix something they should reimburse us for the inconvenience. its a normal policy for most business where you pay for services.

I'm premium, not VIP. I learned long ago to accept that this game will always have bugs, and as such, when things break, I don't flip out about it. Consequently, I also am wise enough not to give them any of my own hard-earned money every month because I know it doesn't matter to them whether or not I pay for the game. Everyone is treated basically the same in the end.

I could be wrong, but this seems like the quickest hotfix for new content since I've been playing the game. Barely 48 hours. I don't know much about coding, but I expect that its similar to disassembling an entire transmission to find a faulty gear while the customer is hovering over your shoulder with an expert opinion. Everyone that's playing Haunted Halls has paid for it in some way, but it couldn't hurt to have a little gratitude.

Thank you and whoever is fixing it. I'm all for Radiant Forcefield working on non-bosses only, but that's probably too difficult a fix. Removing it is great.
