View Full Version : Fall of Truth - wiped due to a strange bug

After encountering intense lag - our party's run (as of my typing this as it's still in prog), was heavily befouled by the sudden and inexplicable ressurrection of the dragons AND the giants upon nuking the Prism of Ages.

New plot twist devs, or a majorly broken raid from an unexpected bug?

Edit: Please Note:

In our run, The Giant of Silence was slain before the dragon was ready, and ended up getting back up once. However, we still ended up killing him. What makes it strange is that the lag indicator (yellow box) didn't even show up, yet we were lagging as though fixing to crash...

Maybe some code leaked through from the new raid. I'm not sure how the mechanic in the new raid works, but maybe that has something to do with it?

Guild ran FOT last nite as per usual. We did not encounter any trouble in completing the quest, but we all did talk about choppy performance. I even noticed that while on the guild ship.

I believe that has to do with the lag from the new explorer area since there is not a cap on the monster party scaling. And it is effecting the whole server.

Hopefully Turbine will address it and after the novelty of the new content passes and fewer people run it that will help the problems server(s) wide.
