I think he is saying you can't use primal scream under madstone rage.

you cant cast Primal Scream while Madstoned because its considered a spell or its the same morale bonus and doesn't stack?

It's possible that while they were in there tinkering with SLA's so they couldn't be used around beholders, they also changed them so you can't use them while raged for the few that you could do that with previously. WAI or not? Who knows.

On the other hand, I agree that it is a judgement call on some of these -- is Primal Scream from being able to get SO WORKED UP you are able to do more than normal? Or is it a magical effect? Same with several other effects I imagine.
