So I am curious about the druid dots.

Principally Greater Creeping Cold, Creeping Cold, and the SLA Creeping Cold. Do they all stack?

If not how does the stacking work?

Is there a reason to fire off all three at once?

I heard that Greater Creeping Cold does not stack with itself. How does one determine in the middle of combat when to fire off another one if that the case?

I know the SLA creeping cold and greater creeping cold stack. (Stack may be the wrong word, they can both be active at the same time but have separate countdowns) Never tired stacking the regular one on top of those two. As far as casting another one I either just wait till I don't see cold damage ticking away anymore (if it's a minor mob) or if it's like a boss or something I care about keeping it up on I inspect the mob (hard target and press z unless you've changed key bindings) that way I can see the countdowns on the spells.

Creeping Cold & Gtr Creeping Cold will stack with each other; but unlike Divine Punishment or the arcane DoTs, you can only have 1 stack of each going. Recasting before it times out merely renews the timer. AFAIK there's no difference between the regular spell and the SLA for Creeping Cold.

cast greater creeping cold and immediately after cast creeping cold sla tier 2.
when the cooldown of tier 2 creeping cold ends, cast again greater creeping cold followed by another creeping cold sla, etcetera.

the tier 2 creeping cold sla has a 10 seconds cooldown, and all creeping cold spells last for 12 seconds, so considering the greater creeping cold animation without quicken spell, you can get a perfect creeping cold timing usage just by watching the sla cooldown on your bar without clicking "Z" to see the mob details.
to use this tactic you can't take tier 3 creeping cold sla or its cooldown will drop to 8 seconds instead of 10 seconds!

If you are a SLA lover, another tactic is to cast tier 3 word of balance sla which has a 15 seconds cooldown, followed by greater creeping cold and creeping cold sla; when word of balance sla cooldown ends then you cast gcc and cc again.
If you use this tactic you waste a couple of seconds of dps, but it's not a big loss ;)

It's very very very very very important that you don't cast a creeping cold over another creeping cold (or gcc over another gcc) before the 12 seconds end because you will reset its timer, and the big numbers damage (about 1000) are dealt in the last seconds of these dots.

Abouth the stacking question: creeping cold spell and creeping cold sla DON'T stack.
I tested them and I see the same number of ticks when I cast one or both spells, the timer reset, so no benefit in casting both of them.

Super useful information.

I have currently taken the cc sla to teir three. Using the teir 3 storm of vengence.

Great (and important) to know about the timers and such.
