Archon damage

Maybe I`m not doing it right, but I don`t notice any increase in the Archon`s damage when i equip a weapon with radiance... Right now I`m doing 25 damage every couple of seconds, and though it is nice to have that "free" damage, right now it`s not worth the 10 ap it takes. I`m running a melee build, so AoV is not my main path. Any advice?

PD Maximize doesn`t seem to affect Archon either...

Archon damage is not dynamic with your current gear. It's damage is based on your spellpower at the time when you cast it.

Equip your radiance gear, cast archon, then equip melee gear. Spellpower only counts when you cast it.
