Now there is the Eldritch Knight Enhancement tree, which should be a melee one and has attacks and buffs that deal Force/Elemental Damage - but other Weapons than Quarterstaffs, one-handed Clubs and Daggers seem to be super-rare. Enabling the option to get only relevant loot for the chosen class(es) seems to have been forgotten about regarding the EK and its possibility to wield all martial weapons. Especially Two-handers: Thaumaturgy ones other than Quarterstaffs seem to be non-existant at all.
Therefore I suggest to implement more weapons suitable for Eldritch Knights that increase Force and Elemental Spell Power and Spell Crit other than the typical "Caster-Weapons".

There are random loot (genuine) melee weapons that come up with caster attributes. Plus there are some mixed-use weapons (Death’s Touch I believe is one) that are as much caster-focused as they are melee-focused. They are out there. You just have to look for them. I know for a fact that I’ve pulled greatswords and greatclubs with caster attributes on them.
As for getting Thaumaturgy-type weapons, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one. I believe AM gets a bonus for staves and orbs, and these specific types mesh with that enhancement tree.
You can also specialty weapons from Cannith Crafting. It doesn’t do you much good after lvl 20, but then again I’m not finding a whole lot of named stuff that just “gotta have it” past either CiTW loot or stuff you can get from the Eveningstar vendors.
Also remember that EK is not based on a THF style, but looks to S&B which is the reason why you get Shield Training as an enhancement. You want caster attributes? Put it on a shield. Wanting to do THF AND be a caster is not what EK is really designed to do.

Yes, but they are rare. Super-rare I'd say. And random, but not a common reward for the chosen enhancement tree.

It's +10 universal Spell Power for 3 AP when wielding a staff or an orb. U kidding me?

Crafting is a real issue. If it'd be only possible to get the right equipment via crafting (which takes loooooong and a huuuuuuge amount of essences), then it'd be a complete fail.
So every Class that's capable of equipping Shields is a S&B class to you? Nice.

What's super rare are players that use a weapon for beating but don't want it to have dps effects on. So I'd say the drop is just about right.

Exactly. So there should be more Thaumaturgy versions of them, because dps is primarily contributed by the attacks and not the weapons.
