k get this.
I was thinking, how about something like a "Remember" toggle for a character, right. You have buy it and all that, expensive as hell, and costs a ton, because, sure, why not.
Anyway, the way it works, is that it remembers what difficulty you did a quest on last life, and when you TR, or eTR, you can then count that quest as done by simply visiting the quest giver, you would get:
EXP for whatever Difficulty you had done it on in the past, including:
Bravery & Streak, (if you are in the right level range, and have the right difficulties done in the past)
VoM (if you remembered to have it on)
Potions (if under the effect of)
Ship Buff (if you got it)
Ransack
Conquest
Flawless
Persistence.
Favor for your new life.
End Reward (Coms, Series Completion, items from sands for flagging, etc, whatever you would have gotten from the quest giver, you get)
You would NOT get:
Loot from the quest itself.
The idea is simple, some people Iconic TR, and have a series of old quest done on elite, and going back and favor farming those quests again, kinda sucks to put it mildly, so, I thought up this idea, to save time.
If you wanted to do a harder difficulty, IE: Lets say you did Normal Last life, and want to do Elite, you would need to run the quest.
If you wanted any loot from the quest itself, you would have to run the quest.
You would only get to use this feature, once per life, per quest, and then, only on a quest you have already completed in your previous life.
No one else in your group would benefit from this.
The quest giver has an "Text Option" that says "Remember me?" and if you use it, and everything applies, they say some stupid line like "Oh I remember you Now!" and BAM, EXP, Favor, Turn In, Done. go away.
So now is when I say something like "What do you all think?" and people that as an invite to tell me how much they think this idea sucks.
